After graduating from college with
a degree in psychology, Robyn Amos discovered that writing
about the characters living in her imagination was more fulfilling
than writing research papers. So, Robyn began writing romance.
The first book she wrote was published by the industry's first
multicultural romance line, Arabesque, in 1997.
She wrote four books for Arabesque titled PROMISE
ME, PRIVATE
LIES, INTO
THE NIGHT and TRUE
BLUE, as well as a Valentine's Day Novella titled I
Do! At the same time, Robyn wrote two books for Silhouette
Books, BACHELORETTE
BLUES for Your's Truly and HERO
AT LARGE for Intimate Moments.
Later, Robyn went on to write two single-title
romances for HaperCollins's HarperTorch line, BRING
ME A DREAM and Wedding
Bell Blues.
After taking a short hiatus from writing to
get married, Robyn gave up her day job in 2005 and began writing
full-time. She has recently been contracted to write for Harlequin's
new Kimani Romance line, which features African-American characters.
Her first category release for Kimani will be published in
April 2007.
